Let the FUN begin! Vigorous food challenges like ‘Separate that Yolk’, ‘Toss that Turnip’, ‘Peel that Prawn’ are just some of the tests events that will pit your food Master Chef’s against one another. It’s a nice way for the group to unwind, bond, have fun and get prepared to handle food. They can have a drink and nibble upon arrival as they compete.
Guests are given passports to identify the countries they are cooking and competing for.
Then it’s into the class room for a food tutorial with a real master seafood chef and back into the kitchen to cook. While teams cook their entree and main, Coach Bourguignon circulates, making note of tidiness, messiness, time management, team work and presentation of the meals. Then the Staff is rewarded after everyone has enjoyed the fruits of their labour.
You can choose menu from 3 menus and we take into account peoples preferences or any food allergies – those who don’t eat seafood get chicken and those who are vegetarians may get a huge mushroom and then put them into teams.
It is a fun and tasty 4-hour afternoon or evening for 20 – 60 guests.
There is a cash bar and you can also arrange to bring in your own alcohol and we serve it. You can just order from a grocery store and get it delivered and the Seafood School will chill it etc… Big cost saving. *Corkage fee applies.
