The Buskers are one of New Zealand’s top covers bands led by highly acclaimed musician Danny McCrum. Danny has performed with and supported many music legends including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Tommy Emmanuel, Jimmy Barnes, Bryan Ferry, Simple Minds, Lizzie Marvelly and many more. Danny has also released three albums, performed all over the country and abroad and has earned a reputation for his professionalism, talent and commitment to quality.

Each musician has been handpicked by Danny and has extensive experience on stage performing and in the studio recording.

The Buskers have a cool sound which is a combination of rock, funk, soul and pop and their repertoire covers a wide range of music, including songs by Ben Harper, Kings of Leon, Ed Sheeran, The Black Keys, U2, Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk, The Beatles, Radiohead, Michael Jackson, The Police, Lenny Kravitz, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Dire Straits, The Killers, Supergroove, The Commitments, The Dandy Warhols, Aloe Blacc, Bob Marley and many more.

The Buskers play each song as if they are their own and they deliver an energetic, unique and lively show full of groove and spontaneity. They will be sure to give a memorable performance at your next event!

"Hi Samantha, Just wanted to say thank you for all your efforts to organise The Buskers band to play for us last Friday. I can honestly say, everyone was more than impressed with their performance. We are a hard group to cater for, most of our staff are 40+ with a few younger ones scattered around, but they all seem to have a different taste in music – so it’s generally quite hard to please them all. Luckily though, from the start of the first song, until the final song of the night – everyone was well and truly enjoying themselves. There was a great mix of songs, catering to everyone! Even our grumpy technical manager who doesn’t really like anything… at all – but the band even had him up dancing and singing. That alone for me, just proves how remarkable the band was at working in with our difficult crowd. Such a humble, lovely group of guys – all with a great sense of humour! A group like that can’t be forced, they need to have that kind of passion to begin with – I’m so glad we have been able to experience their talent. My Dad and some of his mates used to play in a band so are a tough crowd to please and they're still raving about The Buskers incredible skills and sounds over a year later. We didn't want the same old set list that every other covers band seems to play down at the pub and these guys added their own magic to a great list and read the crowd like a dream. Danny was incredibly flexible to deal with and Dad was throwing cash at them at the end to try and get them to keep playing (unfortunately venue had a curfew!).
