SWOON! is a 20 minute choreographed performance where 4 daredevil Australians tell a spectacular story of love, loss, joy and freedom up on high flexible poles. It was awarded the Second Prize at the Shizuoka Daidogei World Cup and has been performed worldwide.

Technical requirements

• An open level space minimum 12m x 8m with at least 7m height overhead. Surface can be paving, concrete, grass, bitumen or cobblestones. The area must be free of any trees, poles, bollards or other protuberances.
• Swoon will provide all the rigging and equipment required for their performance. We also need to add sound production (PA system with CD or mini-disc player) and, if at night time, lighting production to suit the surroundings and size of the audience.
• Setup takes 2 hours and requires 2 extra stage hands
• Bump-out (pack down) takes 1 hour and requires 2 extra stage hands for 30 minutes
• From the beginning of setup, through the performance to the end of Bump-out a barrier is required to discourage pedestrians or vehicles from entering the performance area.
