How do I find an agent?

You may find professional actors, talent and model agents in the Yellow Pages under Casting Agents and Consultants in Australia or Agents for Actors in New Zealand. You can also look under Model Agents in both countries.

If you’re living in a small town or rural area, you may need to look for an agent in the nearest major city. Unless you are already working in show business regularly, there’s not much point joining an agency a long way from where you live. The agent is less likely to call you if you can’t get to auditions in their area.
