Moonrise and Moonset times

Click here to compute the Moonrise and Moonset times for New Zealand using the following Latitude/Longitude measurements.

Kaitaia	-35° 6' , 173° 15'
Auckland	-36° 51' , 174° 45'
Taupo	-38° 41' , 176° 4'
Wellington	-41° 17' , 174° 46'
Christchurch	-43° 31' , 172° 37'
Dunedin	-45° 52' , 170° 30'
Invercargill	-46° 24' , 168° 20'

(For other cities use Maporama to find the correct Latitude/Longitude. Type in the city and choose the right country from the drop down menu. Then the Latitude and Longitude will show up in the "Information" box on the left side of the map when you hover your mouse over the "i" tab.

Then click the last option UTC Time Offset and type 12 for winter months or 13 for daylight savings months. (Daylight savings starts on the first Sunday in October and ends on the third Sunday in March.)
